24/05/2019Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" took part in the festive procession on 24 May - the Bulgarian Education and Culture, and Slavonic Literature Day. The bloc of the university was led by the academic management. The lecturers, students and employees were joined by the participants in the Third International Youth Forum "My Initiative in Education", a joint project of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Herzen State Pedagogical University of Russia, which Varna Free University is hosting.

23/05/2019On the eve of 24 of May – the Bulgarian Education and Culture, and Slavonic Literature Day, Varna Free University Chernorizets Hrabar announced the 20 prospective students, qualified as winners of the scholarship programme "I will Study and Succeed in Bulgaria" for the 2019 – 2020 academic year The future students will begin their studies in a major chosen by them, and the programme will cover 100% of the annual tuition fee for the first year.

Tomorrow, 22 May, the winning students of the forum are arriving at Varna Free University, where the forum is to continue and new educational initiatives will be presented.

20/05/2019A scientific jury for conferring the degree "Doctor of Sciences" on Prof. Georgi Bliznashki, PhD will be held on 22 May at 10:00 am at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The dissertation work of Prof. Bliznashki - "General Doctrine of the Constitution" will be presented. Prof. Bliznashki will be the first Bulgarian Doctor of Sciences in the field of constitutional law.

It involved 10 teams of the following universities: St Kliment Ohridski Sofia University, the University of National and World Economy, the South – West University, Angel Kanchev University of Ruse, New Bulgarian University and Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
