Project № BG161PO003-1.2.02 "Development of electronic forms and distance learning at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" under Operational Programme "Human Resources Development" 2007-2013.

On November 5, 2012 VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" has started the implementation of a project "Development of electronic forms and distance learning at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". The project is financed by Operational Programme "Human Resources Development"2007-2013 and it amounts to 628 106,36 BGN.

The project aims to develop and enhance the quality of the Distance learning system and to extend the electronic forms in the process of education.

Target group persons involved in the project:

• Students completed a course of distance learning – 900
• Academic, technical and administrative personnel trained to work with the systems for electronic and distance learning – 304

The expected results are:

1. Developed and implemented standards for distance learning in Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar";
2. Upgraded platforms for distance and e-learning in Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar";
3. Estabilished system for video conferencing between teachers and students;
4. Developed multimedia electronic textbooks;
5. Building of digital repository of electronic learning resources;
6. Training of technical staff and faculty stuff to use e-learning and distance learning opportunities;
7. Distance and electronic students training in Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar"
