The University Library provides information and service to students, doctoral candidates and professors in their academic research and studies. There are over 116 000 items available, including books, periodical editions, dissertations, and electronic data mediums. 
The readers at the library have access to:

• Free automatic information service
• Full remote access online catalogue
• International full text databases in the local university net
• Free internet connection

TERMS AND RULES:

Registration and issuance of a Library card is performed as follows:

1. BA, MA, PhD students, lecturers and employees of the university must show their ID Card;
2. Former VFU graduates have access to only the Reading Room.

Borrowing and terms of use:

1. For lecturers and teaching staff – up to 7 library documents for a maximum period of 3 months;
2. For students and employees – up to 7 library documents for a maximum period of 2 months.

Library users are not allowed to borrow unique copies, periodicals, expensive or valuable library items or documents, reference works, library documents received under terms of interlibrary lending, manuscripts, dissertations, or diploma theses.

Borrowing terms

All VFU lecturers, BA, MA, and PhD students, and employees of Varna Free University have the right to borrow library items and documents in accordance with the Internal Terms of Use.
