On 01.09.2024 Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" start the implementation of project №2024-1-DE01-KA220-HED-000251502 "Reading comprehension of the 17 UN goals with AI -Languages AI agent - Readco.ai“ as a partner organization.
The project is co-financed by the Erasmus+ program of the European Union.

The "Readco.ai" project aims to elevate reading comprehension through an application grounded in arts and artificial intelligence, incorporating the Socratic method across five languages. It develops innovative pedagogical approaches with a focus on inclusivity, creativity, and cost-effectiveness. It heightens awareness of common EU values as exemplified in the 17 UN Sustainable Development Goals through animated storytelling.
The implementation of the "Readco AI Agent" project includes the development of animated and comic-based stories that cater to diverse linguistic backgrounds and focus on addressing language gaps in reading comprehension. The stories will be based on the 17 UN sustainable goals targeting (immigrant) students in the language learning process. They will be integrated into a mobile application that will be developed by the project, making use of an advanced AI agent.
The "Readco AI Agent" project develops a web-based application for language learners using AI for a personalized learning experience. Besides, the project will produce a book to fuel academic discourse on (language) learning with the help of AI. It will develop a Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) that disseminates the vision and outcomes of the project and that will be available as a self-learning course after the project's end.
