On 28 April 2018, the temple of dance art "Chernorizets Hrabar" Academic Dance Theatre opened the door to its audience with the music and dance performance"From the Soul the Dance Springs"dedicated to the 20th anniversary of its foundation.
The future architects, construction engineers, designers and choreographers received their diplomas at a solemn ceremony at Varna Free University on 27 April.
Presentation of the master’s degree programme in Management of Cultural Tourism was given by its director Assoc. Prof. Georgi Kalaglarski, PhD at the international exhibition entitled "Cultural Tourism" in Veliko Tarnovo. The specialized international forum for popularizing cultural tourism and its significance for Bulgaria as a tourist destination was held from 19 to 21 April this year.
The Scientific forum entitled "140 Years of San Stefano and Berlin - History and Modern Times" organized by the Students' Council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" was held on two consecutive days - 26 and 27 April. On the first day, the participants commented on topics and got acquainted with student developments in the field of international relations, history and politics, and the second day was dedicated to law and security.

Rhodope Values Foundation together with VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", "Nikola Vaptsarov" Naval Academy and the Institute for Prospective Defence Studies, organized a round table discussion on "Challenges to Cyber Security. Youth Security on the Internet" in the Smolyan branch of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", which took place on 21 April 2018.
More than 30 companies and organizations took part in the Career Day 2018 organized by the Students' Council and the Career Centre of Varna Free University. The event was held with the support of the Education and Youth Activities Directorate of the Municipality of Varna and in partnership with Job Tiger.
For the eighth consecutive year a Reading Day was held at Varna Free University. The event was organized by the Foreign Language Teaching Department, the University Library and the Russian Centre of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" on the occasion of 23 April – the World Book and Copyright Day.
