
At Varna Free University, the head of state Rumen Radev highlighted the diversity of specialties that cover a wide range of professional fields and emphasised the high academic results and the authority of the higher education institution, as well as the efforts of the management to develop a quality and full-fledged educational process.

Prof. Dobrinka Chankova, PhD – a lecturer in the Law department of Varna Free University, received a special award for her contribution to the establishment and development of the National Association of Mediators.

The document introduces uniform rules and requirements for assessing students' knowledge and skills and is an integral part of the university's quality management system.

Varna Free University plans to establish a laboratory equipped with specialised equipment and software for digital research. By implementing modern digital technologies, conditions will be provided for conducting applied research and practical training in the field of civil and hydrotechnical sciences. The new infrastructure will support the scientific and educational activities of the university and contribute to the sustainable development of the region by promoting innovation and building a high-tech environment for training and research.

The organizers of the competition invite lecturers and students from our university to turn their knowledge and ideas into interactive projects using the ArcGIS Online platform. Each participant can develop a research project, learning resource or digital story, the only requirement being the inclusion of at least one 2D or 3D map.

Students from the Master's programme in International and Business Project Management of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" participated in a specialised training programe in Brussels. They were led by Prof. Teodora Bakardzhieva, PhD - head of the programme.

The role of private educational institutions in Bulgaria is to provide an alternative for young people. They are initiators of innovations. Usually, new directions in the development of education appear for the first time in them, said the president of the university, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Krasimir Nedyalkov, at the opening of the new academic year.
