30/08/2022The Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will host the traditional 12th International Conference of the Scientific and Technical Union of Construction in Bulgaria entitled Design and Construction of Buildings and Structures. The event will take place from 8 to 10 September on campus. The topics to be considered are in the field of new materials and technologies in construction for a sustainable future, energy efficiency of buildings and structures, achievements in structural design and construction, theoretical and experimental research in the field of structures, seismic mechanics and seismic engineering, design software in construction, etc.

29/08/2022Colleagues from the University of Wroclaw visited Varna Free University under the Erasmus+ programme. Founded in 1702, the University of Wroclaw is one of the oldest higher education institutions in Central Europe. The state research university in Poland educates students in 10 faculties, 13 departments, 31 institutes and more than 100 programmes. Teaching in bachelor's, master's and PhD programmes is in Polish and English. The university is actively developing double degree programmes with foreign universities.

22/08/2022The Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova was awarded the title of Honorary Professor of the Central Asian Innovation University of Kazakhstan. The award was presented personally by His Excellency Temirtay Izbastin - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Kazakhstan to Bulgaria, during his visit to Varna Free University. Ambassador Izbastin was accompanied by the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Kazakhstan in Varna, Milen Raykov. The Central Asian Innovation University, located in the third largest city of Shymkent, awarded Prof. Nedyalkova for outstanding achievements in the field of science.
