VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" IS A MEMBER OF THE UN’S NATIONAL NETWORK FOR SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT SOLUTIONS SDSN BULGARIA
07/06/2023VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" became a member of the national network for solutions for sustainable development SDSN Bulgaria, part of the global SDSN network created by the United Nations to promote the implementation of the Sustainable Development Goals of the world organization. The official opening of the National Network for our country, which took place at UNWE, was attended by Prof. Galina Shamonina, PhD - General Secretary of Varna Free University. The event was attended by the President of Bulgaria for 2012-2017, Rosen Plevneliev, the rector of UNWE, Prof. Dimitar Dimitrov, PhD, the vice-president and head of the Paris office of SDSN, Guillaume Lafortune, and the co-chair of SDSN Europe, SDSN Greece, Prof. Phoebe Koundouri. The event was also honoured by representatives of the Ministry of Innovation and Growth, the National Statistical Institute, the Audit Office, the Higher School of Insurance and Finance, the National Youth Forum and the Student Council at UNWE.

02/06/2023The 11th International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Construction ArCivE' 2023 begins on 3 June at 10:00 am at VFU ” Chernorizets Hrabar”. The conference is traditional for the Faculty of Architecture of the university. More than 50 Bulgarian and foreign scientists in the field of architecture, construction and fire safety will participate in it. More than 30 reports on current topics will be presented.
A TEAM FROM VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" JUDGED A LARGE-SCALE PROJECT OF BULGARIAN SCHOOLS IN THE USA
02/06/2023A team from VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" judged a large-scale project of Bulgarian schools in the USA, which united in the desire to preserve Bulgarian traditions. The project "2023 - Together during the Spring Holidays" is under the patronage of the Association of Bulgarian Schools in America.
AN INTERNATIONAL PROJECT ON THE DEVELOPMENT OF A FINANCIAL LITERACY PROGRAMME HAS STARTED
02/06/2023The first partnership meeting under the project Financial Literacy for the Economic Development of the Society No. 2022-1-BG01-KA220-SCH-000087865 was held at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" on May 29-31, 2023. Universities and educational institutions from Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Ireland and Finland participate in the international project.

02/06/2023Yoanna Hristova - a second-year student in Graphic Design at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is in the top three of the translation competition "Transformations", organized by the Faculty of Modern Languages at VTU "St. St. Cyril and Methodius". The competition is held with the assistance of the Ministry of Education and Science.
PROF. OLGA BORISOVA HAS BEEN AWARDED AN HONORARY CITIZENSHIP OF KOZLODUY
01/06/2023Prof. Dr. Olga Borisova - head of the Legal Sciences Department at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" was awarded an honorary citizenship of the Municipality of Kozloduy. This happened at an official meeting of the Municipal Council, which was held on the city's holiday a day ago. The youngest law professor in Bulgaria was born in the town by the river Danube.
