23/05/2021For its 30 years, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" has established itself as a centre for intellectual, cultural and spiritual growth of thousands of young people. The spiritual companions of the university, who have entered into an intimate dialogue with students and lecturers, are among the brightest and most iconic names that have managed to build the modern state of mind. Among them are Valeri Petrov, Gena Dimitrova, Pavel Matev, Stefan Tsanev, Zlatina Todeva, Evtim Evtimov, academician Georgi Markov, Georgi Cherkelov, Nikolay Uvaliev, academician Nikolay Kaufman, Boyko Lambovski and others.

The prestigious award is presented annually on the occasion of the Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture and Slavonic Literature to teachers, scientists, research teams from universities and research institutes in the municipality of Varna for significant achievements in their scientific and teaching activities.
STUDENT SCIENTIFIC FORUM ENTITLED "THE WORLD BETWEEN WAR AND PEACE" WILL BE HELD ON 21 AND 22 MAY
20/05/2021Scientific forum entitled "The World between War and Peace", organised by the Student Council of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", will be held on 21 and 22 May in the Educational and Sports Complex of the University. The event is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the 25th anniversary of the Student Council and is held with the support of the Municipality of Varna.

20/05/2021There is a group of monetary instruments that, unfortunately, urban planners in our country and in most countries around the world do not use. If some really high, adequate fees are set for the areas where nature is already scarce, the entrepreneur will not even think of building in this area. And in our country the fee for a building permit is extremely low. This is what the architect Prof. Alexander Slaev commented in an interview with the presenter Mariela Dimitrova with Radio Varna, on the occasion of his nomination for the Varna Award.
VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" WILL ENRICH COOPERATION WITH AFYON KOCATEPE UNIVERSITY IN TURKEY
19/05/2021Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed lecturers from Afyon Kocatepe University. Fatih Ozdinc, Onur Uludag, Cahit Erdem and Fatih Güngör are visiting as part of a bilateral Erasmus + programme agreement signed a month ago with the Turkey's leading university. Yesterday the lecturers had a working meeting with Prof. Galina Shamonina, PhD - Secretary General of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", where the possibilities for cooperation between the two universities were discussed. The signing of a partnership agreement for the organization of an international academic exchange, for the development and implementation of joint educational programmes, research and projects in the field of education, science and publishing is forthcoming.
