75 PAPERS WERE PRESENTED DURING THE "ARCIVE" INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON ARCHITECTURE AND CONSTRUCTION
01/06/2021The tenth International Scientific Conference on Architecture and Construction "ArCivE", organized by the Faculty of Architecture at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", was held over the weekend in the virtual classrooms of the university. "ArCivE" is one of the largest scientific conferences in the field of construction in Bulgaria, which is held every two years. The event is a jubilee and coincides with the celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities of the Faculty of Architecture and the 30th anniversary of Varna Free University.

01/06/2021The Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and an honorary citizen of Smolyan - Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova donated to the residents of the regional town a stone fountain with a recreation area and a sculpture of a Rhodope woman. The fountain will bring happiness to every resident and guest of the Rhodope town, who visit the stadium and its multifunctional playgrounds.

28/05/2021The training in the Master's degree programme "Preservation of Cultural Heritage" at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is at a world level. That is what arch. Vladimir Rachev - Inspector for Preservation of Immovable Cultural Heritage for the Northeast Planning Region at the Ministry of Culture commented after the brilliant presentation of the diploma projects of the students from the Master's degree programme. He was part of the jury chaired by Corresponding Member. Prof. D.Sc. Atanas Kovachev - Head of the Department of Architecture and Urbanism. Guests of the defense of the diploma projects were arch. Victor Buzev – the chief architect of Varna Municipality and eng. Daniel Trankov - representative of RÖFIX - Bulgaria.

The conference is held under the banner of the 30th anniversary of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the 25th anniversary of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Structures.

27/05/2021Tsvetan Mitev is the new president of the Student Council of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" for the term of 2021-2022. He was elected in yesterday's elections of the Student Council. Boyan is a 1st- year student majoring in Architecture. He has finished the Professional Secondary School of Construction, Architecture and Geodesy "Vasil Levski" in Varna, where he was President of the Student Council.
