16/07/2020The Student Council of Varna Free University and the management of the university met with the National Representation of the Student Councils in Bulgaria. Issues related to the important place of private universities in the Bulgarian educational system, student lending, the successful passage of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" through the emergency situation in the country, the innovative organization of the educational process and the start of the new academic year were discussed.
THE ONLY ACCREDITED IN BULGARIA DISTANCE LEARNING IN INFORMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE IS AT VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR"
16/07/2020The fourth consecutive programme accreditation for a period of five years was awarded to the professional area of Informatics and Computer Science of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" by the National Evaluation and Accreditation Agency at the Council of Ministers. Varna Free University continues to be the only university in Bulgaria with a bachelor's degree in informatics and computer science accredited in distance learning. NEAA has also increased the number of students who can study in the specialties of the professional area.
STUDENT OF VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" CONTINUES HIS STUDIES IN OSLO UNDER INTERUNIVERSITY BACHELOR'S PROGRAMME
15/07/2020Michael Braskov is a student in the first class of the interuniversity bachelor's programme in International Business at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and BI Norwegian Business School, who will continue his studies in Oslo. This year, Michael applied and was admitted in the fourth year at the leading Norwegian university to major in Finance. The excellent academic achievements of the student during the past three years at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" were highly appreciated by the host institution. At the end of his studies, Braskov will receive diplomas from Varna Free University and BI Norwegian Business School in two specialties.

62 STUDENTS FROM VFU "CHERNORIZETS HRABAR" STARTED PRACTICAL TRAINING IN COMPANIES IN THE LAST MONTH
02/07/202062 students from Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" began their practical training in 19 training organizations - law firms, judicial institutions, construction companies and kindergartens under the project "Student Internships - Phase 2". Students study practically within 240 hours, individually or in groups, with the help and under the supervision of a mentor from the employer organization and under the mentorship of a university lecturer.
