The presentation of the book "How to Study Public Life" by the world-renowned architect and urbanist Jan Gehl aroused great interest. The event was held at the Graphite Hotel-Gallery. The book is published in the Bulgarian language by Varna Free University. It is translated by Assoc. Prof. Plamen Petrov, PhD - lecturer at the Faculty of Architecture.

The author will present the "Bible in Urban Studies" on 5 March 2020, at 5:30 pm at the Graphite Hotel Gallery in Varna.
On the national holiday of Bulgaria - March 3, students from five and lecturers from Varna Free University put a wreath on Shipka Peak - the legendary monument, a symbol of the Bulgarian freedom and commemorated the memory of the thousands of Russian warriors and Bulgarian volunteers who died in the Russo-Turkish War of Liberation from 1877-1878. Traditionally, the Expedition to Shipka is carried out at the initiative of the Student Council of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" and the Russian Center of the University. The expedition is led by Prof. Dr. Galina Chamonina - Secretary General of Varna Free University and Head of the Russian Center.

A Women's Entrepreneurship Centre is due to open at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” on 26 February 2020. The purpose of the centre is to train and assist young women (up to 34 years) from Bulgaria and neighboring countries in starting and developing their own businesses. It is created under the WOMEN IN BUSINESS project Fostering the Young Women Entrepreneurship in the Danube Region, co-financed by the INTERREG Danube Transnational Programme.
