Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Good Practices is yet another joint master class by Varna Free University and the University of Cincinnati, the USA. In the three days of the master class – from 9th to 11th May 2014 – business representatives and experts from the USA and Bulgaria will be presenting innovative and traditional good practices, which help companies to develop and thrive in a complex, dynamic and competitive environment.
Among the topics to be presented by the lecturers are foundations of leadership, creating a leadership culture, entrepreneurship in the public sector, key factors of political leadership, using cloud technologies to increase productivity, the role of price-setting, marketing and management in large corporations, the role of women business leaders, creating a successful business environment for disabled people.
The participants will work directly with Prof. George Vredeveld, founder and long-standing Director of the Economics Center for Education & Research at the University of Cincinnati, Prof. Richard MacDonald, a professor of Economics at St. Cloud State University and programme development consultant, Jean Lauterbach – founder and President of Prism Consulting – a company focusing on business strategies and creating competitive advantage, and Ms Elena Koseva, CEO of St. St. Constantine and Helena Holding. Other American banking, technologies, management, marketing, services and coaching experts will join the master class with interactive sessions.
By holding this master class Varna Free University aims to create programmes for business leaders and managers, as they create the momentum of the private sector in the country.
Participants will be issued a joint certificate by Varna Free University and the University of Cincinnati. The deadline for registration is 7th May 2014.
