Master class Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship – Broad Platform for Exchange of Ideas and Good Practices

“Success depends on you alone” – these were the opening words of Prof. George Vredeveld from the University of Cincinnati, when he gave start to the master class Business Leadership and Entrepreneurship. Good practices.

In the three days of the master class – from 9th to 11th May 2014 – business representatives and experts from the USA and Bulgaria will be presenting innovative and traditional good practices, which help companies to develop and thrive in a complex, dynamic and competitive environment.

The Rector of Varna Free University Prof. D.Sc. Galya Gercheva wished the participants good luck, and pointed out that the now traditional master classes are yet another proof of the aspirations of the academic staff to provide high quality professional training for its students.

“This master class continues to apply a very successful formula”, said Assoc. Prof. Eleonora Tankova, Dean of the faculty of International Economics and Administration and organizer of the event. Among the advantages of the master class Assoc. Prof. Tankova distinguished the interdisciplinary approach, the interactive training forms, and, last but not least, the participants – students, experts and professionals from various fields.

The unconventional decision to put together students and business representatives, creates a broad platform for exchange of ideas and successful practices in the field of business leadership and entrepreneurship.

In a meeting with the academic management of the university the American lecturers Prof. George Vredeveld, Prof. Richard MacDonald and Jean Lauterbach shared their excellent impressions of the university and the good organization of the event.

The President of VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” Prof. D.Sc. Anna Nedyalkova welcomed the guests and thanked them for their participation in the master class. She emphasized the beneficial impact their shared experience has, in a period marked by serious transformations in higher education and the direction Varna Free University has taken towards internationalization and active cross-border exchange.
