The first information day to present the Erasmus+ opportunities for student mobility attracts students
The first information day on the Erasmus+ opportunities for student mobility was held on 14th May 2014 at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” and enjoyed great interest on the part of the students.
The Erasmus+ programme is the latest initiative of the European Union which gives students the opportunity to participate in a learning mobility period at a foreign partner university, without paying academic fees, as well as to do a work placement at European companies, organisations and institutions. Varna Free University guarantees academic recognition of the learning mobility period abroad and provides funding (Erasmus grant) to its students in order to facilitate their mobility.
During the information day, students learned about the application procedures for the academic year 2014/2015, the selection procedures, the European partner universities and companies, the amount of the Erasmus grant, the recognition procedures, the deadlines for application and the opportunities and conditions for reapplying for students who have already participated in a learning mobility period or work placement in the period 2007 - 2013.

The number of applicants is limited.
The deadline for application for student learning mobility during the 1st and 2nd semesters is 26th May 2014.
