424 graduates from the Faculty of International Economics and Administration receive diplomas
An official graduation ceremony of alumni 2013 of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, autumn state examination session, was held on 16th May 2014 at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.
424 graduate and postgraduate students at the Faculty successfully completed their training. Diplomas received 339 Bachelor degree holders, majoring in Economic Management, Business Administration Public Administration, International Marketing, Finance and Accounting, International Economic Relations, International Relations, Accounting and Control, Economics and Informatics. Out of these, 37 graduates achieved excellent academic results during their course of study.
Diplomas received 85 Master degree holders majoring in the Master programmes Management of Projects Financed by EU Funds, European Administration, Territorial Administration, Business Leadership in a Global Environment, Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management, Business Administration in Tourism, International Negotiations, Web Design and Information Systems and Technologies. Out of these, 49 graduates achieved academic excellence, 6 of them graduating with distinction: Dayana Stoykova, majoring in Business Leadership in a Global Environment, Fatme Tairova, majoring in Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management, Todorka Eneva, majoring in Management of Projects Financed by EU Funds, Svetlozar Nedelchev, majoring in Business Leadership in a Global Environment, Neli Vassileva, majoring in European Administration and Stefan Marchev, majoring in Business Leadership in a Global Environment. These graduates received their diplomas from the Vice President of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” Assoc. Prof. Krassimir Nedyalkov.
“I do believe that in the course of your studies we have given you not just knowledge, but also the right attitude to life”, said Assoc. Prof. Nedyalkov, and added that Varna Free University will always be open for its alumni.
The rest of the graduates received their diplomas from Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD, Vice Rector for research.
“Today is yet another time when we can feel confident that we have been a starting point for your future successful career development”, said the Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, Assoc. Prof. Eleonora Tankova, PhD. She expressed special thanks to the faculty and academic administration, who work to promote the university’s mission, to the families of the graduates for their support and assistance, and wished that the graduates should find their honourable place in the sphere of Bulgarian spirituality and knowledge.
Special guests of the ceremony were Mr. Peycho Peychev, Deputy Mayor of Varna, Ms. Lilia Hristova, Head of the Directoratefor Education, Youth Activities and Sport, Mr. Georgi Genchev, Manager of V. M. International and Chair of the Brach Board of Trustees at the Department of Administration and Management, Mr. Galin Zhelyazkov, Manager of company “158” Ltd. and Mr. Aleksandar Dimov, Project Manager of First Online Solution.
Training at the Faculty of International Economics and Administration is conducted in accredited specialities, leading to the acquisition of the educational and qualification degrees Bachelor and Master, and the educational and research degree Doctor. The process of training is in compliance with the European requirements and standards, in accordance with the ECTS/ DS and HR Labels, awarded to VFU.
