Students paid a working visit to Devnya cement
50 students majoring in Architecture and Construction of Buildings and Facilities, together with their lecturers paid a working visit to the cement plant in Devnya owned by Italcementi Group. The company is the largest cement producer in Bulgaria, with an annual production capacity of 2.5 million tons and provides more than 500 jobs.
The group of students and lecturers from Varna Free University looked around the production facilities, get acquainted with the experience, the workflow and the atmosphere in the company. They received information about the innovative products of Itelchementi and their application and spoke with representatives of the management of the plant. The visit is part of the initiative Sustainable Construction for a Sustainable Future, which creates a wide platform for exchange of ideas and best practices between students and business representatives from different areas.
