Students of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities participated in a Student Scientific Conference
Students of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities at Varna Free University participated in the first student scientific conference "Bulgaria's Economic Situation and Development Trends." The forum was hosted by the University of Economics in Varna. The event was organized by the Student Council of the University of Economics, together with the Bulgarian National Representation of Students Councils. It was attended by students from three universities in Varna – the University of Economics, Technical University and Varna Free University. The representatives of the universities presented their papers on the problems of the economic situation in Bulgaria.
The students of Varna Free University - Tudzhai Ismailov, second-year student and Zdravko Dimitrov, third-year student, both majoring in Construction of Buildings and Facilities presented a paper under the title "Bulgaria's Economic Situation and Development Trends in Architecture, Construction and Geodesy." For their performance they received certificates for the first and second place. The participation in the conference gave the students the opportunity to show their skills and knowledge in out-of-class environment where they could compare their achievements with those of other young people, to share research and professional ideas, to develop their presentation skills and participate in discussions.
