The Ambassador of the Republic of Indonesia visited Varna Free University

Working meeting of the President of Varna Free University, Prof. D Sc, Anna Nedyalkova and representatives of the academic management with His Excellency Bunian Saptomo, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Indonesia in Bulgaria was held today. The meeting was attended also by Ms Dina Martina - Second Secretary of the Socio-Cultural Affairs at the Embassy of Indonesia in the country and Mr Krasimir Simov - proposed for the position of Honorary Consul of Indonesia in Varna.

    During his visit, Ambassador Saptomo looked around the facilities of Varna Free University and discussed with its management issues related to the implementation of future cooperation with universities in the area of ​​Surabaya - the second largest city in the country, twinned with Varna.

    The President of Varna Free University, Prof. Nedyalkova thanked Ambassador Saptomo for his interest in the university and shared the willingness of the academic institution to partner with the Asian country. "We have a number of initiatives and ideas that we are ready to discuss .We have the capacity and ability to create flexible training and with all our respect for you and your country we are willing to go into partnership in all areas," added Professor Nedyalkova.

    His Excellency thanked for the cordial welcome and emphasized the support of the diplomatic mission led by him for the implementation of cooperation in higher education and academic exchange of lecturers and students.     "Thank you for the warm welcome in this modern and beautiful university! I hope that we can develop together a partnership between our two countries," wrote in the book ofhonorary guests of the university, His Excellency Bunian Saptomo.
