The Rector of Varna Free University Prof. DSc Galya Gercheva pays a working visit to the University of Liechtenstein in Vaduz
During their visit in the Principality of Liechtenstein, Prof. Gercheva and the Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, Corresponding Member Prof. DSc Atanas Kovachev, had a meeting with Mr. Klaus Nescher – Rector of the university in Vaduz and Eng. Arch. Hugo Dworzak – Head of the Institute of Architecture and Planning. They presented Varna Free University, the specifics of the academic activities of the Faculty of Architecture, and the work of lectures, PhD students and students. Emphasis was placed on the possibilities Varna Free University offers for joint work and partnership at different levels between the two higher education institutions.
The University of Liechtenstein hosts expressed their interest in the collaboration possibilities under the Erasmus+ programme, as well as in other European programmes. They voiced a desire to visit Varna Free University and get to know better the facilities and the potential of the Bulgarian university. Teams from both universities have started working on the draft of a Memorandum of Partnership.
