The specialties are part of a total of 21 Bachelor’s degree  programs, which Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" included in its updated academic profile for academic year 2014/ 2015.     All students who remained outside the ranking of the scholarship program can use the numerous opportunities for financial benefit after the completion of the first semester of their studies.

It is a standard practice of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and its Board of Trustees to provide also personal annual scholarships to socially deprived or outstanding students in various fields, and to accept the costs of education from companies and industry organizations in return for a contract of employment after graduation.     The scholarship program is part of the social mission of the university to support the efforts of young people to increase their competitiveness in the labor market and to succeed in Bulgaria.

The winners of this year's contest are already enrolled in their chosen Bachelor’s degree programs. Earlier this week they looked around the campus and met with the Vice–Rector forScientific Researchat VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar," Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD, who welcomed them in the academic family of the people with a free spirit and ambitions.

"I watched the video in YouTubeabout the student internships in Germany and felt proud because a German lawyer learned about Bulgaria, our culture and traditions. I still remember her words: "I had not planned a visit to Bulgaria, but now I do want to go to this country." Why does a German lawyer want to come here, whereas my peers feel confused when I speak about the emblematic Vazov’s poem "My Dear Fatherland, How Beautiful You Are." I want to study here, in my country and while Varna Free University exists in Bulgaria along with the opportunities for higher education, while I am young, ambitious and confident in my knowledge, I am sure I will succeed. "I kept repeating the motto of Varna Free University "Where your dreams begin…" and I suddenly realized that it is a metaphor for my future. I understand it like this and I identify myself with the university I have chosen ", finishes her essay Katerina Georgieva, an excellent student of MathematicsandNatural Science Secondary School"St. Kliment Ochridski", Silistra – scholarship holder of Varna Free University in Psychology and Counseling.

"My name is Christina Valentinova Hristova, 19 years old, from the town of General Toshevo.  I was accepted at Varna Free University under the scholarship program, "I will Learn and Succeed in Bulgaria."     This program gives me the incentive to go on and prove myself to all who believe in me and love me.     Now I am highly ambitious to succeed in my future profession, because you cannot achieve anything without work.

Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is the biggest private university in Bulgaria and one of the few oriented towards students and their professional development through placements, student exchanges and experience. I was also very impressed by the university facilities, which gives you another reason to learn and develop here. You feel motivated to dive into the sea of knowledge and emerge ready for life. From here begins the fulfillment of my dreams. I think that Varna Free University will give me the necessary knowledge and help me develop as a person.

I want to succeed in the world of music, because music is all that fills my days with happiness and makes me believe in my own abilities. Music is life, love and emotion.

My most beautiful memories, truest friendships and I hope, the songs that I compose are related to music.     I am  determined to succeed in Bulgaria, so that my country to be as it is in my dreams, namely a country with order, justice, entrepreneurship and economic freedom. I will have my own place and contribution to everything achieved here because this is my country. Our generation has the difficult task of building a new life, making Bulgaria a better place to live, to give the generation after us a better future.     I choose Bulgaria! "
