The acceptance of application documents at Varna Free University continues
The first round of admission for Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" for academic year 2014/2015 finished. The deadline for enrollment of students admitted in the first round is 14 August. The acceptance of application documents for the next round continues.
The examination session of the candidates will be held from 19 to 22 August 2014.
The candidates are required to submit a diploma of completed secondary or higher education and at will – certificate of foreign language and/ or computer skills to be specified their level of competence.
The admission exams are optional: an essay on a topic of general significance, participation in online contests, a general technical or natural sciences test, exam in a foreign language or an interview with the commission depending on the specialty.
The grades from the school-leaving exams held from 2008 to 2014 are recognized as successfully passed exams as well as the certificate scores of international language or computer skills exams, the scores obtained in national and international contests and Olympiads and exams sat at other universities. Twenty-one are the specialties after secondary education at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar". They are divided into the 3 faculties - International Economics and Administration, Faculty of Law and Faculty of Architecture. For some of the specialties the students are offered the optionof “two-speed training” which means that they finish their degree for 3 instead of 4 academic years.
The training is adapted to the dynamic economic and social environment and meets the changed requirements of the European labour market. About 10, 000 students study in 85 wide-profile and specialized Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree programs and 23 doctoral programs.
Bachelor’s degree students are provided the opportunity to opt for full time, part time or distance learning training. The admission to them is open until 30 September and the Diploma of Higher Education is recognized throughout Europe.
