Once again, Varna Free University is hosting a summer salsa fiesta
For the third consecutive year, Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" is hosting the Summer Salsa Fest. The hot Latin fiesta starts on 8 August and is part of the program supporting the candidacy of Bulgaria for European Capital of Culture 2019. Organizer of the event is a Malambo dance school with the support of Culture fund, Varna.
The program of the Summer Salsa Fest includes shows, beach Latin fiestas, dance parties and lessons in the styles of salsa, reggaeton, merengue, bachata, cha-cha, kizomba, timba, son, African rumba and pachanga.
Special guests of the event are the international stars Marvin Ramos and Serena Renda, Simone Tabo and Serena Maso - world bachata and salsa champions from Italy; The Cuban Roli Madden, known as the "King of Timbata"; Franco da Rocha and Lucia Medina from Uruguay - students of the five times world champions Adrian and Anita; the Cuban dancers Raul Torres and Miguel Rodriguez.
The festival starts at 7 pm, Thursday at the entrance of the Seaside Garden in Varna and will continue at 10 pm on the outdoor stages in the East Park of Varna Free University.
