The President of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc. and the President of University Hasan II of Casablanca in Morocco, Idriss Mansouri have signed an Agreement for Cooperation.
Varna Free University is the only university in Bulgaria that has signed an Agreement with the University Hasan II which is one of the most prestigious universities in Morocco. This will not only enrich the dynamics of cooperation between the two institutions, but will also give the chance to students from Morocco to take advantage of the educational product of Varna Free University.
The Agreement has been signed for a period of five years. By virtue of this agreement, the two universities will exchange students, professors and researchers and will collaborate on matters related to education and research in the field of technologies, business management etc. The Agreement also envisages activities on joint projects.
University Hassan II of Casablanca is a public governmental university, founded in 1975. It has nearly 29 000 students making it the third largest university in Morocco. The University employs over 1000 full-time faculty teachers and professors. The institution offers educational product covering the following key areas: economics, management, legal studies, technologies, engineering, medicine, arts etc.
The implementation of successful academic partnerships is part of the internationalization strategy of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" and one of the successful models for creating an internationally convertible educational product. Varna Free University has enlarged its scope of cooperation by signing agreements, stipulating exchange of students and professors with educational institutions worldwide. Varna Free University has exchange programs both with universities in Europe and with higher education institutions in China, Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Morocco and Russia.
