A modern technology transfer office opens at Varna Free University
A conference taking place on 5th September 2014, (Friday) at 10 o‘clock, in room B3 of VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” will mark the official opening of the Office for technology transfer of energy efficient materials and technologies. The office is established with the financial support of the operational programme “Development of the Competitiveness of the Bulgarian Economy” 2007 – 2013, co-funded by the European Union through the European Regional Development Fund, and enjoying the full support of the university management.
The technology transfer office specializes in the field of energy efficient materials and technologies. Its three specialized labs are equipped with hi-tech modern equipment for conducting structural analyses, as well as heat and mechanical testing of materials. The lab equipment is unique for Varna and the region.
Thanks to this hi-tech equipment and the team of specialists working there, the office will be able to provide highly-qualified, expert development and consulting services to enterprises and companies which use energy efficient materials and technologies.
The technology transfer office at VFU “Chernorizets Hrabar” will organize and hold training events and seminars in the field of energy efficiency and energy efficient materials and technologies.
