Conference on Design and Construction of Buildings and Facilities will discuss topics relevant to the industry from 11 to 13 September in Varna
Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" will host the International Scientific Conference on Design and Construction of Buildings and Facilities, which will be held from 11 to 13 September, 2014. Co-organizers of the event are the Scientific and Technical Union of Construction in Bulgaria, the Federation of Scientific-and-Engineering Unions, the Chamber of the Builders in Bulgaria and the Chamber of Engineers in the Investment Design.
Among the topics to be discussed at the forum are new materials and technologies in construction; advances in structural design and construction; theoretical and experimental research in the field of structures; seismic mechanics and earthquake engineering; software for design; reconstruction and reinforcement of building structures and facilities; hydrotechnical structures; construction of foundations of buildings and structures; legislation and regulation and problems in the design according to the Eurocodes.
The official opening of the conference is scheduled for 10:00 am on 11 September (Thursday), 2014 in Hall 1 of the Educational – and – Sports Complex of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
