The President of Varna Free University sent greetings on the occasion of the opening of the academic year at the Software University

    President Rosen Plevneliev opened the new academic year at the Software University in Sofia. The ceremony was attended by Assoc. Prof. Galina Momcheva, PhD - Head of the Department of Informatics at the Faculty of International Economics and Administration at Varna Free University" Chernorizets Hrabar ".

    Quality education, which provides not only knowledge but also skills for young people is the foundation of solving the problems with high unemployment, low incomes and demographic problem in Bulgaria, said Plevneliev. According to him, nothing is more important than the efforts of young people to succeed here, stay here, become rich with their own idea of ​​good and bad, with their own skills and experience. Sooner or later the decision that money is bound up with quality, not quantity, will become a reality in education, said the head of state.

Anna Nedyalkova on the occasion of the opening of the academic year, is said: Your innovative approach and your mission to create a modern educational practice-oriented centre, is the reason why Varna Free University has chosen you as one of the strategic partners in the development of the priorities for building sustainable modern education. I believe that our partnership will give its positive results. Good practices and global partnership models will be built up along with intelligent solutions which will lead to the end of the crisis by changing the stereotypes and adopting an innovative approach in the training of young people.

    The Software University was founded by Svetlin Nakov, PhD and Hristo Tenchev and aims to support the acquisition and development of practical skills of young programmers. In April 2014, the educational institution and Varna Free University signed a partnership agreement. A joint program offers training and university Bachelor’s degree diploma in Informatics and Computer Science.
