The Master Class "Creating Games from A to Z with Kai Rosenkranz & Michael Hoge" organized by the Department of Informatics at Varna Free University is part of the rich program of the International Academy "Knowledge and Innovation". The Academy combines the potential of international educational institutions, research centers and other companies to create the managers of the future. Owing to the master classes organized within the framework of the Academy, the latest achievements of science and practice come into the university.
Lecturers in the computer games master class are the co-founder of the German games studio Piranha Bytes, Michael Hoge, the developer of computer games, Kai Rosenkranz and the Director of Production in the Despark Digital Agency, Stoyan Ilchev. The German lecturers are part of the team which has worked on the games Gothic and Risen. Among the topics of the master classes are the means for development of computer games, approaches to the games design, creation of interactive music and a lot more shared experience of the lecturers.
The participants in the event will be introduced also to the opportunities offered by the university for training in the Master's degree program Computer Games and Animation. Accompanying event to the master class will be a competition for computer games Game Hour featuring over 80 developers, which will be held on 15 and 16 November at Varna Free University.
