Varna municipality awards three students from Varna Free University for excellent achievements
The Science and Education Committee at Varna Municipal Council selected and voted the nominees for the Varna Municipality annual award for students who have achieved excellence in their studies.
Three of the award holders are students at Varna Free University.
A nominee in the “Social, economic and legal sciences” category is Simona Radoslavova Shangova, a fifth-year student in Law at Varna Free University.
A nominee in the “Natural sciences, mathematics and computer sciences” category is Momchil Georgiev, Vasilev, a fourth-year student in Informatics.
A nominee in the “Technical sciences” category is Valentina Yordanova Petrova, a sixth-year student in Architecture.
Overall, nine students from Varna universities will be presented with annual awards bearing their names and amounting to BGN 1 500, at a special ceremony held on the eve of the students’ day, 8th December. The awards, which will be presented by the Mayor and the Chairman of the Varna Municipal Council, are part of the municipality’s scheme to promote the creative potential of talented children and students.
