168 graduates of the Faculty of Architecture receive diplomas

Graduates of the Faculty of Architecture at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” received their diplomas at an official ceremony on 7th November 2014.

Altogether 168 graduates from the Bachelor and Master programmes of the faculty successfully completed their education. 61 of them are graduate architects, alumni of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies. At the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities 74 engineers were awarded diplomas in the following fields: building constructions, road construction, fire safety and water supply and sewerage systems. The Department of Arts gave diplomas to 33 young choreographers, fashion and space designers.

Bachelor diplomas were awarded to 86 graduates in the following majors: Construction of Buildings and Facilities, Fire Safety and Population Protection, Legal Expert Engineering, Space Design, Interior Design, Fashion Design, Choreography etc.

Diplomas were also awarded to 82 Master degree holders who completed the programmes Building Constructions, Water Supply and Sewerage Systems and Installations, Road Construction, Fire Equipment and Automation.

The graduates who had achieved excellence in their studies were presented with diplomas by the Vice Rector for Educational Affairs Prof. Valeri Stoyanov, PhD.

Graduates received congratulations by the Dean of the Faculty of Architecture Prof. Stefan Terziev, PhD, Corresponding Member Prof. Atanas Kovachev, DSc, Arch., Head of the Department of Architecture and Urban Studies, Prof. Petar Angelov – Head of the Department of Arts and Assoc. Prof. Milena Kichekova, PhD, Eng. – Head of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities.

Among the official guests was the Director of the Regional Directorate “Fire Safety and Population Protection” Varna, Tihomir Totev, Eng., who presented the graduates in Fire Safety and Population Protection and Fire Equipment and Automation with their diplomas.
