Graduates of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration received their diplomas at an official ceremony
Promotion of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar", graduates of year 2014 of the spring state exams was held on Friday, November 28, 2014.
Total of 436 are the graduates of the Bachelor’s and Master’s degree programs of the faculty, who successfully completed their studies. Diplomas were awarded to 271 Bachelor’s degree students in the following specialties: Business Management, Business Administration, Public Administration, European Studies, International Economic Relations, International Relations, Finance and Accounting, Informatics and International Marketing. 15 of the graduates have achieved excellent results during their studies. Diplomas were also awarded to 219 Master’s degree students in the following specialties:

The promotion was attended by Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD – Vice-Rector for Scientific Research at Varna Free University, Assoc. Prof. Eleonora Tankova, PhD - Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, Assoc. Prof. Dragomir Krastev, PhD - Scientific Secretary of the Faculty, Assoc. Prof. Maria Velikova, PhD - Head of the Department of Administration and Management, Assoc. Prof. Snezhanka Ovcharova, PhD - Head of the Department of International Economics and Politics and Assoc. Prof. Galina Momcheva, PhD - Head of the Department of Informatics.
Among the official guests were members of the interbranch boards of trustees: Ms Elena Bakalova - Executive and Regional Director of Varna Group, Societe Generale – Expressbank; Mr Ivelin Ivanov - Director of the company 158 Ltd and Mr Venelin Dobrev - manager of BeehiveCo-working Space. The presence of the representatives of the business is a sign of the active work in the direction of expanding the opportunities for professional development of the graduates.
During the ceremony, the Vice-Rector of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD, awarded with a diploma, an honorary diploma and a prize Lachezar Rosenov Georgiev - a graduate of the Master's program European Administration, who has completed his studies with the highest score - excellent 6.00.
For the first time, at a promotion of graduates, a diploma for educational and scientific degree "doctor" was awarded to Silvia Todorova. This should become one of the best university traditions, said the Vice-Rector, Prof. Pavlov.
