"Leonardo da Vinci" Programme, "Transfer of Innovation"
The third partner meeting under project BREAD INТERN LLP-LdV/TOI/2013/RO/032, Lifelong Learning programme, "Leonardo da Vinci" programme, "Transfer of Innovation" took place on 21st and 22nd January 2015, at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.
Attendees at the meeting included representatives of the Romanian Employers’ Association of the Flour Milling, Bakery and Flour Based Products Industry, the Institute of Research and Development for Food Bioresources, Romania, the Ataturk Technical and Industrial Vocational High School, Turkey and Varna Free University.
Participants in the meeting reported the activities which have been completed under the project up to the present moment, and discussed the organisation and methodology of the oncoming activities according to the project plan. Among the issues discussed were the methodology of the contest ”Youngsters and Milling and Bakery Industry”, which is about to take place in Romania and Turkey, and the type of agreement that will be signed between the contest winners and the companies in the industry sector. The contestants who win the first three prizes will be given the opportunity to do a one-month work placement at a company in the milling and bakery industry, and become familiar with its work. Other material prizes will also be given.
Varna Free University’s participation in the project consolidates its image as a loyal partner in international research activities.
