Students from Varna Free University learn about new opportunities for career start
The traditional JobTiger workshop for the students of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” took place on 12th March 2015. The topic of the meeting, which was organised in a partnership with the VFU Career Centre and Nestle, was “Instruction Manual for the National Career Days 2015”.
During their meeting with the manager of JobTiger Svetlozar Petrov, the students learned how to write CVs and cover letters, and were given answers to some important questions: “What are the National Career Days?”, “How can you find a job at the forum?”, “How can JobTiger and the university’s Career Centre be useful to students throughout the year?”.
Lilyana Dimitrova, business partner Human Resources at Nestle, outlined Nestlé’s initiatives aiming at encouraging youth employment.
The fourteenth edition of the biggest forum for student internship and career “National Career Days – GOOD CAREER, GOOD LIFE” opens in Varna on 16th March (Monday) 2015 at 10:00 in the Grafit Hotel. The organisers JobTiger and the general sponsor of Nestle Bulgaria have prepared for students meetings with leading companies from different industries, which offer their internship programmes and vacancies. In Bulgaria’s sea capital 34 companies will participate, with some of them offering practical workshops.
Each year the forum provides opportunities for young people to gain experience of communicating with employers and to meet personally the people who are responsible for hiring new staff. Nearly 180 000 young people have attended the forum since its start in 2002, with over 32 000 finding employment through it.
