The public lecture on "Information and communication technologies in smart cities" of Assoc. Prof. Martha Seebauer, PhD, Eng., lecturer in architecture of computer systems and Vice-dean of the Faculty of Informatics at Obuda University, Hungary, presented the development of computer systems and information and communication technologies and their importance in the design of intelligent cities.
Assoc. Prof. Seebauer visited Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" under the program Erasmus + of the European Commission. She met with students and lecturers from the Faculty of Architecture and Faculty of International Economics and Administration. The public lecture attracted the interest of the audience also with the presented projects developed by students of Obuda University for the development of smart cities (SmartCities).
The possibilities for future cooperation between the two academic institutions were discussed in the meetings of Assoc. Prof. Martha Seebauer, PhD, Eng. with the management of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities and the Department of Informatics.
