Students and teachers from thePrivate Trade School in Varna and Hristo Botev School in the village of Nikolaevka took part in a training event on preparing business plans. The event has been organized under the international project “Internationally Oriented Business Lessons – WIN-WIN”, Erasmus+ programme, K2, whose partner is Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.
The business lessons for the high school students included topics such as business environment analyses, developing marketing strategies, researching potential clients and cost planning. Having learned the key concepts related to the process of preparing business plans, the participants had the opportunity to put the new knowledge into practice by working on specially designed practical tasks.
Preparing business plans is part of the process of setting up training companies at schools. The business idea of the students from the Private Trade School is to set up an event managing company, while the students from Hristo Botev School focused on food and beverage production. The main beverage to be produced is dandelion juice.
A VFU team of professors will evaluate both business plans, and will come up with results on 5th June.
