Master class on the topic of "How to use financial markets to support business and ourselves," will launch on 8 May at Varna Free University" Chernorizets Hrabar ". This is yet another master class organized by Varna Free University and the University of Cincinnati, USA
Within three days - from 8 to 10 May, business representatives and experts from the USA, Germany and Bulgaria will present topics related to personal finance and investments, successful investing in financial instruments, financial crisis management, corporate finance and business projects funding. This master class is intended for both tempted by the sphere of finance, and for people who want to improve their financial literacy and more confidently to navigate the variety of complex financial products and services.
The main speakers in the master class are Prof. George Vredeveld of the University of Cincinnati, USA; Prof. Richard MacDonald of St CloudStateUniversity, USA; Mr Martin Paev, owner and manager of SORTIS INVEST. Financial experts from the United States will join the master class through virtual sessions. Special guest at the master class will be Peter Harold, PhD, Chairman of the Board of Directors of HYPO NOE Gruppe, Austria, who will hold a discussion on "Provocations in banking."

THE ROLE OF THE UNIVERSITY, which will be held on 8 May (Friday), 2015 at 2:00 pm in Hall 3 of the Academic and Sports Complex of the university. The forum will discuss topics related to:
- Young people’s financial literacy:evaluation of literacy as a tool for financial inclusion. - Financial services and literacy of young people as a factor in their consumer’s demand.
- Opportunities and prospects for improving young people’s financial literacy. - Protection of the consumers of financial services; do the institutions work with young people?
The International Academy "Knowledge and Innovation" combines the potential of international educational institutions, research centres and different companies to build up the managers of the future. In 2015, the activities of the Academy are dedicated to the topic of "Financial literacy and financial inclusion of young people." Some of the initiatives involve the participation of Varna Free University as a major partner of the conference "Education and business: FINANCIAL EDUCATION FOR A SUSTAINABLE ECONOMY"
The conference "Education and Business" is organized for the second consecutive year by three leading economic media - Bulgaria ON AIR, Bloomberg TV and Investor.BG. The event will be held on 11 May, 2015.
The focus of the conference this year is on "Financial education for a sustainable economy." Prof. Steve Hanke is arriving in Bulgaria to participate in the conference. He is a lecturer in applied economics at Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore/USA. Moderator of the discussion will be Neira Chehich, economic journalist from Bloomberg TV.
