The celebration of this holiday manifests the thirst for enlightenment and science, for national self-determination and cultural advancement. It is an expression not only of our attitude to the past, but also gives us power today, with a new attitude to culture, education and science.
The strength of our culture is that it unites all of us regardless of our differences. So united in diversity, let us be together in the name of academic future of our city and for the sake of the spiritual future of our country. Because the best investment is the investment in education and science. The mission of our university is to give the young generation of Bulgaria the most advanced knowledge and skills but also a broad culture, which successfully won the fight for its implementation in a rapidly changing world.
