Graduates from the Smolyan branch of Varna Free University received their diplomas

    122 graduates from the Smolyan branch of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" received their diplomas at a ceremony in Bulgaria hall of the university. The diplomas were presented by the Regional Governor of Smolyan, Nedyalko Slavov and Prof. Venelin Kafedzhiev.     Wishes for their successful professional career wereoffered by MP Daniela Daritkova, PhD, the Deputy Mayor of Smolyan, Marin Zahariev, the Mayor of the Municipality of Rudozem, Rumen Pehlivanov, the Vice-Rector of VFU, Prof. Pavel Pavlov and the Director of the university branch in the Rhodope town, Anelia Parzhanova, PhD.

 

    "I would like to give you the warmest greetings from the academic management of Varna Free University, with the best wishes for success and professional development of the students from the Rhodopes. Personally for me, it is a special honour to participate for the tenth time in the graduation ceremony in Smolyan, which means that the branch not only lives, but also develops. I wish the graduates good health, much zeal and successful career development". With these words, the Vice-Rector of Varna Free University, Prof. Pavel Pavlov, PhD addressed the lecturers, graduates and their parents.

 

     "Be bold and decisive," said Parzhanova, PhD in her speech.      "I am happy that once again I can participate in the graduation ceremony of VFU because it is the academic face of Smolyan region. I think that due to education there are young people after us who will take all the professional challenges that we have not coped with. This will guarantee the success of our nation and will make us equal to the leading European nations," said Daniela Daritkova, PhD

 

 

 

    Daniel Iliev, a graduate finishing with honours spoke cordial wordsand expresses his thanks and good wishes to all professors, associate professors, assistant professors and lecturers, who provided care and put effort into the quality training of his fellow students who are flowing now into the various sectors and activities of the economy.     "Search your success by yourselves and do not seek political protection in your career development," said the Governor of Smolyan region, Nedyalko Slavov.     The graduates were welcomed with bread and honey at the entrance. The hall was too narrow for them.

 

    Before the ceremony, the academic management greeted their students with performances by Rhodope bagpipe players and songs to memorize forever the mountain where they graduated.

 

   The branch took their leave of the graduates who majored in: "Public Administration and Management", "Business Administration and Management", "Construction of Buildings and Facilities", "Crime Counteraction and Public Order Protection", "National Security Protection", "Finance and Accounting ","International Economic Relations" and "Business Management".

 

    The 38 graduates who successfully completed their studies in Master's degree programs this year are already specialists in "European Administration", "Management of International Business Projects", "Financial and Banking Marketing and Management."
