Annual fashion show of the students majoring in Fashion and Fashion Management

08 June 2015

Artistic skill, beauty and creative new ideas once again brought pleasant emotions to the Varna audience.

The traditional fashion show of the talented young people, majoring in Fashion and Fashion Management at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, took place at the end of May, in Graphit gallery.

For more than 20 years now, this festival of art and youth has been attracting the interest of fashion and design lovers, and has been an integral part of the cultural and creative life of the sea capital.

The annual fashion show of the students majoring in Fashion and Fashion Management is the most significant manifestation of their creative expression. It is held at the end of each academic year. The future fashion designers work hard to conceptualize and realize their projects – they research, design, experiment and create their own models. By tradition, all Fashion students took part in the show. More than sixty ideas were presented, falling into four themes: „Composition with Bands”, „Dissection”, “Experiment in White” – based on themes from the history of the suit and „Transformation”.

The 4th-year students presented some of their thesis ideas. A student from Belgium, who is at the university with the student mobility programme Erasmus+, presented her own fashion collection created in Bulgaria.

The students majoring in Fashion and Fashion Management once again demonstrated their creative work with confidence. Some of the best performances were by Evelina Doichinova, Iva Delibeeva, Desislava Fileva, Neli Marinova, Vasilka Gesheva, Danila Vikulova and Chloe Henris.

In the complete course of their studies at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, the future fashion designers gain experience, realize projects and win many awards, take part in competitions and fashion shows at home and abroad, thus laying a strong foundation for their future career development.
