The official graduation ceremony of alumni 2014 from the autumn state examination session of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration took place on 29th May, at Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”.
258 Bachelor and Master Degree holders successfully completed their higher education. Diplomas were awarded to 200 Bachelors majoring in „Business Administration“, „Public Administration“, „International Marketing“, „Finance and Accounting“, „International Economic Relations“, „International Relations“ and „Informatics“. Out of these, 26 graduates achieved excellence in their studies.
Diplomas were awarded to 58 Master Degree holders majoring in „Management of Projects Financed by EU Funds“, „European Administration“, „Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management“, „Leadership in a Global Environment“, „Public Administration and European Integration“, „Finance and Accounting“, „Financial Audit“ и „Marketing and Public Relations in Business Management, Science and Culture“. Out of these, 32 graduates achieved excellence in their studies.
The top 7 Master Degree holders are: KameliaIgnatova – „Marketing and Public Relations in Business Management, Science and Culture“; Milen Marinov - „Leadership in a Global Environment“; ToshkaGeorgieva - „European Administration“; MagdalenaPetrova - „Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management“; AntonioKatsarski - „Public Administration and European Integration“; StoilStoilov – „Management of Projects Financed by EU Funds“ andBoryanaSlavova - „Financial Audit“. They received their diplomas, certificates and awards from the Rector of Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar” Prof. DSc Galya Gercheva.
“The diplomas issued by Varna Free University are unique for you because they are the result of your work during your training at Varna Free University. They are unique because Varna Free University is the only university in Bulgaria which has substantiated its training with the prestigious labels of the European Commission ECTS and DS Label. They are unique for you because with them you will be able to find your place in life…”, said Prof. Gercheva in her address to the graduates.
During the ceremony, the Rector of Varna Free University awarded certificate for a successfully completed bridge semester for the Master programme “Management of International Business Projects” to the Chinese students from Sanda University in Shanghai Yiying Wang, Chunan Yang and Siqin Wu.
“It was a pleasure for me to study at Varna Free University. Everything here is wonderful – beautiful places and friendly people. We had a great time here, and are looking forward to coming back for the next semester.”, said Siqin Wu.
The Bachelor degree holders with excellent achievements received their diplomas from the Dean of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration, Assoc. Prof. Eleonora Tankova, PhD.

Prof. Tankova.

Lybomir Kostov thanked the university management for the programmes they have designed and for the qualified professors, and wished the university to always strive towards achieving high quality.
Special guests to the ceremony were Ms. Lilia Hristova, - Director of Directorate “Education, Youth Activities and Sport” and Ms. Tanya Mihailova – Director of the Diplomatic Institute.
