Students majoring in Fashion and Fashion Management – part of the “Eco Day – Ecology, Creativity and Beauty” initiative
A colourful and interesting creative initiative entitled “Eco Day – Ecology, Creativity and Beauty”, which is part of the “Varna – European Youth Capital 2017” cultural events, took place on 6th June 2015 on the Shell stage in the Sea Garden in Varna.
For a few hours, the participants used their rich imagination to create their own T-shirt re-design, experiment with paper and waste materials and create a pleasant art atmosphere.
These wonderful experiments attracted and involved a lot of children. They were happy to join the art workshop, and together with the students made their own additional designer accessories from unconventional materials. The 
event was rich in creativity and exchange of interesting ideas. It is not for the first time that the students in Fashion and Fashion Management from Varna Free University attract people searching for freedom and beauty, but when children are also involved, the feeling that the world of art has a bright future brings hope that we are heading in the right direction of development.
To keep the good mood of the art-loving audience, dancers and singers from different art clubs gave wonderful performances. At the end of this creative and emotional event, the students and children presented the models created in this wonderful corner of Varna.
The organiser of the event was the Institute of Youth Initiatives and Innovation in partnership with the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities, Varna Free University “Chernorizets Hrabar”, the Black Sea Regional Agency for Energy Management and the Black Sea Energy Cluster.
The initiative was realized with the financial support of Varna Municipality.
