Lecturers at Varna Free University took active part in the International conference “Case studies and Tools in Practice”. The forum took place on 17th and 18th June 2015 in Athens under the project Vocational Technology Enhanced Learning: №UK/13/LLP-LdV/TOI-630, “LifelongLearning Programme”, Leonardo da Vinci sectoral programme, Transfer of Innovations.

The conference focuses on the opportunities for sharing best practice and dissemination of innovations in the field of vocational training.
It is the first conference which aims to bridge the gap between real market demands for training and academic research. The conference focuses on case studies, tools and methods that improve vocational training and learning technologies.

The representatives of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" Assoc. Prof. Galina Momcheva, PhD, Assist. Prof. Veselina Spasova, PhD and Assist. Prof. Milen Sotirov presented reports on social network analysis as a technology-enhanced learning tool, gamification in the learning process and visual programming as a tool for career orientation and development.
The forum generated useful international contacts which can contribute to the development and modernization of vocational training methodology and create prerequisites for successful partnerships in the field of international projects implemented by Varna Free University.
