The Consortium of the International Project SЕHUD - Architecture and Sustainable DevelopmentBased on Eco-Humanistic Principles & Advanced Technologies without Losing Identity under the "TEMPUS" programme held its final session from 6 to 9 October, 2015 at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar." Ten European and Ukrainian universities and institutions worked on the project. Prof. Ivan Nikiforov, Assoc. Prof. Aleksandar Slaev, Asst. Prof. Petar Nikolov and Prof. Rositsa Nikiforova - European supervisor in Module 3 of the programme, lecturers at Varna Free University contributed to the developing of educational materials within the framework of the project.

Prof. Sebastian McMillan, PhD – Director of the Master’s degree programme Interdisciplinary Design for Built Environment at the University of Cambridge made presentation entitled Modern Society and the Responsibility of Architects and Urban Planners.
Dr. John Barber presented a brilliant lecture on the topic of The Project SEHUD in Historical Context before students and lecturers from Varna Free University. Dr. John Barber is a political scientist, Dean of King's College, Cambridge and honorary researcher at the Centre for Research on Russia and Eastern Europe at the University of Birmingham.
The platform for training on the topic of Architecture and Sustainable Urban Development was presented in the Stone Hall of the Palace in Balchik. The main activities of the project were summarized in Skype connection with the Polytechnic University of Milan.
The Ukrainian universities were represented at the highest level - Rectors of several universities arrived in Varna for the final project meeting. The Rectors of VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar" welcomed the leaders of the Kharkov National University of Civil Engineering and Architecture, The Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, Odessa Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture, University of Construction and Architecture of Kiev and Lviv. The higher education institutions concluded cooperation agreements on cooperation, exchange of lecturers and students and joint Master's degree programme for Preservation of Cultural Heritage based on the already existing programme at VFU.

The contactson this project led to already functioning cooperation agreements with the Polytechnic University of Milan and the University of Zaragoza.
