Chinese delegation from Ningbo University attended the solemn graduation ceremony of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar"
Delegation from the Chinese university in Ningbo visited Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" on 6 November, 2015. Members of the delegation were the Chairman of the board of Ningbo University - Ms Sun Hyumin, Gao Zenkiang - Assistant to the President of the University; Juan Kuykuy and Lu Uizhi - Deputy Directors of the Office for Assessment of the Teaching Quality, Ye Ueydzhian - Director of the Centre for Modern Technological Education, Zhao Uindzhin - Deputy Dean of the College of Business Administration and Wang Uingfey - Deputy Director of the Office of International Activities.
During the meeting with the Chinese guests, the President of Varna Free University, Prof. Anna Nedyalkova, D.Sc. expressed confidence that the cooperation between the two universities will continue to be successful. Ningbo is a very special city for us, said Prof. Nedyalkova. After the visit of our Vice-Rector, Prof. Stoyanov there, he returned with very good impressions, ideas and projects for joint partnership.
We come here for the first time after signing the Memorandum and we hope to implement our ideas for this partnership, said in her address to the academic management of Varna Free University, Ms Sun Hyumin. She thanked for the invitation and the warm reception and said that she was deeply impressed by what she saw at the university.
Within the framework of the meeting, the possibilities of establishing joint Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree programs were discussed, as well as projects related to the exchange of lecturers and students training in the field of the Chinese language and culture and the foundation of Bulgarian centre at the University of Ningbo.
Later, the Chinese guests took part in the solemn graduation ceremony of class 2015, autumn state examination session of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration.
271 graduates of the Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree programs of the Faculty of International Economics and Administration successfully completed their studies. 146 graduates who majored Business Administration, Public Administration, International Marketing, Finance and Accounting, Economics, International Economic Relations, International Relations and Informatics received their diplomas. 17 of them are graduates who have achieved excellent results during their studies. Mr Simeon Simov - Managing partner of "Active" OOD presented the graduating excellent students with their diplomas. In his opening speech to the students Mr Simov gave symbolic "asset" to the graduates - the definition of the word development - one of the main stages of human life. He defined development as the thousands assessments, judgments and choices that each person makes continuously. Based on this definition, I wish you to have a great development, and I hopeto be in our country, he pointed out.
55 are the excellent students among the 125 graduates who majored in Management of Projects Financed by the EU Funds,"European Administration, Advertising and Public Relations in Business Management, Leadership in a Global Environment, Finance and Accounting, Financial audit, Marketing and Public Relations in Business Management, Science and Culture, Software Engineering, International Politics and Security, Financial and Bank Management and Marketing, International Marketing and International Finance.

We are holding our graduating ceremony in a very important year for the university. This year marks the 25th anniversary of the founding of Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar".
Back in 1991 we set the goal to create an environment in which thinking and creative people to be built up, people with critical thinking, people responsible not only to their ambitions and future, but also people responsible for the future of society, ready to face challenges, people with innovative spirit and ambition to conquer peaks, she pointed out. Assoc. Prof. Tankova wished the graduates each of them to find their own unique way to contribute to their own development and the development of society. She thanked the lecturers and members of the academic administration who take their work as a cause.
