For the third time Varna Free University will host Varna Spaghetti Engineering – a national competition in creative skills, which is the successor of the edition Varna Spaghetti Tower for school students from the vocational schools of architecture, civil engineering and geodesy in the country. It is organized by the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities at the Faculty of Architecture at Varna Free University and is part of the events dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the specialty Construction of Buildings and Facilities and the 25th anniversary of the foundation of VFU" Chernorizets Hrabar ".
The Forum will bring together over 60 participants – school students from the vocational schools of architecture, civil engineering and geodesy across the country and students of Varna Free University and will provoke again their creative thinking in the design and building of constructions of spaghetti. A nomination of the audience "The most attractive rotating spaghetti construction" is being prepared for the first time in this format. Students majoring in Architecture and Construction of Buildings and Facilities at the Faculty of Architecture at VFU will fight for it.
The constructed structures of the future builders and architects will be judged by a jury chaired by architect Victor Buzev - chief architect of the Municipality of Varna and members - representatives of the branch organizations and the business sector from professional area of Architecture, Construction and Geodesy.
The ambition of the Department of Construction of Buildings and Facilities is this forum to bring again together students and professionals from the fields of construction and architecture, provoking their creativity in the creation of structures. The third edition of the national competition in creative skills Varna Spaghetti Engineering will be officially opened in Hall 2 of the Academic and Sports Complex of Varna Free University at 11:00 on 14 November (Saturday) 2015.
