Varna Free University received accreditation for professional area 3.2 Psychology
Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar" received another nationwide expert recognition for the management, staff and students. The National Assessment and Accreditation Agency announced the results of the procedure for program accreditation of professional area 3.2 Psychology. The received accreditation assessment for the studies in the educational and qualification degrees "Bachelor" and "Master" in psychology is 9.06 (at the maximumpossible10) with a term of validity of six years. The three Master’s degree programs offered by the professional area are also in the scope and term of validity of the assessment - Applied Psychology, Psychology and Psychopathology of Development and Psychological counseling.
The PhD programs presented by the area are also highly assessed - accreditation assessment 9.12 and term of validity of six years for the PhD program in Pedagogical and Developmental Psychology, accreditation assessment 9.10 and term of validity of six years for a PhD program in General Psychology and accreditation assessment 8.74 with term of validity for five years for the newly launched PhD program in Social, Organizational And Consultative Psychology. The received high results are an appreciation for the efforts of the academic and administrative teams of the Department of Psychology in the implementation of innovative trends in the training in psychology and creation of quality and competitive educational environment which meets the modern academic requirements.
