The tourist trail runs through the municipalities of Dospat and Borino, and passes through several villages. Its starting point is the town of Dospat followed by the villages Barutin, Chavdar and Buynovo,
ultimately ending in the village of Kozhari, Borino Municipality. The trail has allowed significant improvements to tourist infrastructure to be made, and has enabled both the local residents and tourists to indulge in short-term relaxation and walks, visiting beautiful places and exploring the local flora and fauna.
A marketing strategy has been developed under the project, which serves as the basis for analysis of the opportunities for tourism development and for identifying concrete measures to improve the region’s attractiveness.
We have created many promotional materials, pointed out Prof. Nedyalkova. I am firmly convinced that they will contribute to promoting the region among Bulgarian and foreign tourists.
