International Qualification School for Teachers of Russian – Project of the Year of Ruskiy Mir Fund
The international qualification school Contemporary Pedagogic Technologies in the Teaching of Russian as a Foreign Language became project of the year of Ruskiy Mir Fund.
The Seventh international summer qualification school on contemporary pedagogic technologies in the teaching of Russian as a foreign language was held as part of an international project of Varna Free University with the support of Ruskiy Mir Fund. The school focuses on enhancing the methodological training of young specialists who are on the threshold of their professional realization as teachers of Russian.
Traditionally the school attracts wide interest. Every year Varna Free University becomes a hub of Russian language and culture for both students and teachers from Europe and Asia.
During its seven year existence the school has proven its advantages as the only school in methodology in Europe intended for young philologists which offers a current scientific agenda devoted to the implementation of contemporary pedagogic technologies in the teaching of Russian. Altogether there have been 340 certified participants, 180 of whom are from abroad.
In the jubilee year of Varna Free University the Project of the Yearprize is one in a row of acknowledgements for the role and place of the university as a qualification centre of international importance.
The aims and the achievements of the school are reported in an article in the special edition of Ruskiy Mir Fund with the title Projects of the Year. The article pays special attention to the participants’ and leading scientists’ opinions who arrive at Varna Free University to participate in the school.
