The new year of a VFU student, the photographer Hristo Rusev started with a photo published in ELLE - the most prestigious fashion magazine in the world
The talented photographer from Svilengrad, Hristo Rusev is a winner of the scholarship program of Varna Free University under the motto "I Will Learn and Succeed in Bulgaria" in 2014.
The young man, who is majoring in International Relations and Law at Varna Free University enjoys already a lot of recognition at home and abroad. His photo has been published in the prestigious edition of National Geographic. Reportage photos of the photographer find place in the bulletins of Reuters and the Associated Press.
Hristo Rusev has won first place in the photography competition entitled "The President at Work", organized by the US Embassy in Bulgaria. He has been a participant in the exhibition Photo of the Year - 2012 and 2013 at the National Art Gallery in Sofia.
In 2015, he won the European Parliament'saward for a photo of February under the motto "Education" and opened his solo exhibition in St. Petersburg within the framework of the International Youth Forum, organized by the Russkiy Mir Foundation.
