The Master’s degree students majoring in Financial and Banking Management and Marketing were taught about commercial insolvency by the President of the Appeal Court in Varna

    The President of the Appeal Court in Varna - Vanuhi Arakelyan delivered lectures on commercial insolvency to the students majoring in Financial and Banking Management and Marketing.

    Judge Arakelyan teaches Commercial Law at Varna Free University "Chernorizets Hrabar". She has specialized in the US and in Great Britain under Trail programme of the British Know How Fund. She is a lecturer in seminars, conferences and discussion forums organized by the Ministry of Justice, the Centre for Training of Magistrates, the National Institute of Justice and others. She also participates in a working group of the Supreme Judicial Council in preparing a concept for application of information technologies in insolvency proceedings as well as in the Independent Judicial Power project.

    The lectures passed in solving interesting case studies on trade and bank insolvency. The students and the head of the Master's degree programme, Assoc. Prof. Virzhinia Ivanova, PhD said that linking theory with practical knowledge and skills through joint training by a lecturer and an expert from the practicing profession is important for their future career development. The relationship between experts and students is a strategic orientation of the university and one of the best practices established in its 25-year history.
